Behold the great white throne judgment
when time shall come to close
must bring to bear this sole event
that nothing can oppose

for death and hell shall be devoured
in brimstone’s blazing fire
a lake of eternal torment
where evil shall expire

each soul that God has made for Him
created to be born
shall rise from graves to meet their God
that they have always scorned

resurrected and made alive
they fear what God must do
knowing their guilt and shame of sin
receive what they are due

naked and scared terror and grief
horror to paralyze
a doom so great they want to hide
from God’s all knowing eyes

every knee shall bow and tongue confess
that Jesus is the Lord
then sentence passed as judgment falls
the wrath of God is poured

thrown alive to a second death
eternal flames of shame
shall feed itself on wicked man
whose conscious of his pain
